- Age, state, beauty goals (from profile setup)
- App usage data (scan count, plan type)
- Approximate location (city/state level — for AQI and regional skin tips)
- Push notification token (for scan reminders — only if you allow)

- Photos are processed in real-time for analysis only
- Photos are NOT stored on our servers permanently
- Auto-deleted within 24 hours
- You can delete instantly — free of charge
- Photos are never shared with third parties
- Photos are never used for training AI models
⚙️ 3. How We Use Your Data
- Phone number: Login & account security only
- Face photo: Sent securely to our server-side AI pipeline (Face++ API and Gemini AI) — never processed with exposed keys
- Scan results: Shown to you in History & Profile
- Location (city/state): Fetched via WAQI API for real-time AQI data and regional skin analysis — never stored permanently
- Push notifications: Sent only for scan reminders and streak milestones — you can disable anytime from app settings
- Usage data: To manage your scan limits and plan

- Face++ API (Megvii) — face analysis
- Google Gemini API — skin analysis
- WAQI API (World Air Quality Index) — real-time AQI data for your city
- Firebase (Google) — authentication, database & push notifications
- Google Play Billing — payments
All third-party services are bound by their own privacy policies and data protection standards.

- All data transmitted over HTTPS (encrypted)
- Face and skin analysis runs on secure server-side Cloud Functions — API keys are never stored in the app
- Firebase security rules restrict data access
- Only you can access your own scan data
- No employee has access to your photos
👧 7. Age Requirement
Nikhaar AI is intended for users aged 16 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If we discover such data has been collected, it will be immediately deleted.

- Photos: Deleted within 24 hours (or instantly on request)
- Scan results & history — Free plan: 7 days
- Scan results & history — Pay-per-scan: 30 days
- Scan results & history — Pro plan: 90 days
- Account data: Retained until account deletion
- You may request deletion anytime

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

🤝 1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using Nikhaar AI, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
👤 2. Eligibility
- You must be 16 years or older to use this app
- You must provide accurate information during registration
- One account per person is allowed
- You are responsible for maintaining account security
📷 3. Photo Usage
- You must only upload photos of yourself
- Do not upload photos of other people without consent
- Do not upload photos of minors (under 18)
- Do not upload offensive, obscene, or illegal content
- Do not upload photos from screens, magazines, or AI-generated images
- Violation may result in account suspension
💳 4. Plans & Payments
- Free plan: Glow Check — unlimited and free
- Pay-per-scan: One-time payment per AI scan — no expiry
- Pro plan: ₹99/month — all scans, no ads, guided journey
- Pro subscription auto-renews monthly unless cancelled before the renewal date
- Cancel anytime via Google Play Settings → Subscriptions
- Cancellation takes effect at end of current billing period — access continues until then
- Payments processed by Google Play — non-refundable once charged, except where required by law
- For refund requests within 48 hours of purchase, contact Google Play support directly
🚫 5. Prohibited Uses
- Do not reverse engineer or decompile the app
- Do not use automated tools or bots
- Do not attempt to hack or disrupt services
- Do not share your account with others
- Do not use the app for commercial purposes without permission

- Beauty scores are for personal use and entertainment only
- Results are AI-generated and may not be fully accurate

⚖️ 8. Limitation of Liability
Nikhaar AI is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app.
🗑️ 9. Account Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.
⚖️ 10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India and comply with the DPDP Act, 2023. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delhi, India.
